GIOS Torino Super Record Godefroot Vintage Road Bike

Be it Paris-Roubaix, the Tour of Flanders, Gent-Wevelgem or Liège-Bastogne-Liège: the Belgian Walter Godefroot won many a major cycle race. He celebrated many of his successes on a Belgian Flandira racer. But towards the end of his career he trusted an Italian pedigree: the legendary Gios Torino Super Record, today one of the most well-known classics of all. This gem, bearing the letters of Godefroot's own brand, is based precisely on this racing bike. The typical GIOS blue, the distinctive coins on the fork crown or the many Gios pantographs lovingly embossed in the Columbus SL frame set serve as proof. These can also be found underlined in red on the Campagnolo Super Record seat post. Speaking of Super Record: The gear group and brakes made in Italy are another highlight of the Godefroot racer. Then as now, the name stood for the ultimate in racing bike gears and makes cyclists click their tongues.
