- 1 scope
These terms and conditions contain the conditions that apply exclusively between you ('customer') and us, the bicycle shop - Der Ritzler, Andreas Kohlmeier, Fritz-Erler-Str.11, 76133 Karlsruhe, when contracts are concluded via our online shop http://der-ritzler.de.

(1) Your warranty rights are based on the general statutory provisions, unless otherwise specified below.
(2) The limitation period for warranty claims for consumers is 2 years for newly manufactured items and 1 year for used items. In relation to entrepreneurs, the limitation period for newly manufactured items and for used items is 1 year. This does not apply to claims for damages by the customer due to injury to life, limb or health or to claims for damages due to a breach of essential contractual obligations.
- 4 Our liability
We are fully liable for damage resulting from culpable injury to life, limb or health as well as under the Product Liability Act. We are only liable for other damage if the damage was caused intentionally or through gross negligence by us or a legal representative, employee or vicarious agent. In addition, we are liable for slightly negligent breaches of essential contractual obligations (such obligations, the fulfillment of which enables the proper execution of the contract in the first place and on which the contractual partner can regularly rely).

Right to cancel
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without the need to state any reason.

In order to comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments we have received from you, including the costs of supply (with the exception of the additional costs arising from the fact that you have chosen a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), and repay immediately latest within fourteen days from the date on which the notification has been received about your cancellation of this contract with us. For this repayment, we use the same method of payment that you used in the original transaction, unless you explicitly agreed otherwise; in any case you will be charged fees for this repayment.
We may refuse to refund until we have received the goods or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.
You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any event no later than fourteen days from the date on which you notify us of the cancellation of this contract. This period shall be deemed to have been observed if you dispatch the goods before the expiry of the period of fourteen days.
You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. In cases in which the goods cannot normally be returned by post due to their nature (e.g. bicycle), the costs are estimated at a maximum of around EUR 40,00. You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary to check the nature, properties and functionality of the goods.
